Kellie and I just returned from a fantastic weekend in North Carolina with her extended family. Her cousin Trista was a gorgeous bride and all the festivities were magnificent. My personal highlight of the trip was creating a dance routine to Thriller with two other guys, teaching it to 20 of the family, and then dancing for the bride and groom in wolfpack masks. It was a blast!

I have a new brother-in-law! My wife’s sister, Allison, married Eric Helmholdt on Saturday, July 7, 2007. It turned out to be a beautiful day and I’m happy for it. Kellie and I were asked to take some pictures with our Nikon D50 and we obliged. The pictures turned out pretty well (thanks to the camera and beautiful weather – certainly not our photography skills!).

Kellie and I flew down to North Carolina for a quick three-day weekend and wedding. Jenny and Bill looked so happy and we had a great time seeing the Pinehurst area and enjoying wedding festivities.

Went to the Folkert / Siehling wedding in Hudsonville last night and had a wonderful time. John and Jenni are heading to Cancun for their honeymoon and we’re hoping to meet up with them while there.

Ben and Jen are officially hitched!

Attended the Recker / Ward wedding last night in Hudsonville. Another beautiful couple getting married this summer.

Enjoyed the wedding down in Kalamazoo! The first of many weddings now that we’re all out of college.

Kellie and I headed up to a wedding in Leland (near Traverse City) for the weekend. A packing fiasco left me without a dress shirt so I was forced to wear some casual clothes to the wedding – how embarrassing. I took Kellie to the Omelette Shop for the first time and we enjoyed some putt-putt at Pebble’s and food at Don’s. Man, I love the Traverse City area!
